Digitize using the PSW 2.0 | |||||||
| The image is our first step.
|
The first thing we looked at was the order to digitize
the colors in. Usually this is done from the background to the foreground.
We choose the hat inside brim as the first section and we decided a
textured fill was best for such a large area. We did the hat body in a
different textured fill to show a nice contrast. Note the face was done
with a complex fill in step satin and the lips were done in a branches
fill with satin stitch.
|
| Continuing through the design, we used a
branches fill and changed the density to do the cheeks and we used a step
satin branches fill to do the hair.
|
when we got to the eyes we used a complex fill
step stain and then outlined the eye and the lashes with a step 3 outline.
|
| We added the outline in a step 3 line stitch.
We also added a satin hat band in purple.
|
The final step was to add the purple lace
dress. This was done with a special motif fill in the complex fill stitch
type. We then placed a satin outline around the dress for definition.
As we worked on the design we constantly edited our work and changed stitch types if they did not work out. Looking at the design in a realistic view really helps to see the finished product.
