Futura Lettering
| To do lettering you click on the "T" icon and
type the word in the white box. Handles on the diagonal allow you to pull
the word out to make it bigger proportionally. Pull the handles in the
middle to make the word wider and higher.

| Click and drag the diamond up or down to make the
stairsteps.

| Pull the diamond left or right to slant the word.
|
| Rotate by clicking and dragging on the dot.
|
| A grid will help you keep things straight.
|
| Click on the 3rd tool from the right on the top tool bar to
make the word into a shape.
|
| You can right click to make the word fill with stitches.
You can add designs from the stitch library to the lettering.
|
| If you are using designs from outside the program, open the
design first and then add the lettering. |
