At our Evolve University we found 18 friends who came for the weekend and
that love to sew on their Evolve serger. We had students travel from Connecticut,
Florida, Virginia Beach, Ohio, Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD area, and many
parts of New Jersey. By the end of the weekend Margaret Tulley was giving group
hugs as everyone really appreciated the great knowledge she shared. We also
enjoyed wonderful stories, a great crab cake dinner and found we had many
kindred spirits in the sewing world. Let see if I can remember all the names-
Lynn, Mary, Mary Belle, Mary Beth, Mary, Dot, Shannon, Betty, Ellen, Rose, BJ,
Sharon, RJ, ....well I almost got them all.
We met Mary Beth and RJ who both have discussion groups on Yahoo. They shared
many good tips with us. We had 4 Mary's in one class. Below you will see a few
of the pictures I managed to snap. One or two of the pictures show the bowtie
quilt block warm up to start the session. Everyone liked the Lake house fabrics.
We all saw the wonderful new Evolve Wave and the great workbooks for the
Evolve and Imagine wave sergers.
Thank you to all that came. Kim and I enjoyed your company and hope you will
visit us again.
