On June 23rd and 24th 2006 Jenny taught a great class on heirloom techniques. These techniques can be used on any embroidery and sewing machine. Emphasis was placed on border embroidery and the use of accessory feet to do an expert job. The white work is hard to detail in pictures but I hope you can see the work involved.

Students did border embroidery, fagoting using the feather stitch, beading, cording with candlelite thread, ribbon beading using decorative stitches, and pintucking. Since many did not sew garments normally we took time to fit the blouse to each student. Most finished the project in class.
