Hello all sewers on this really hot day in July 2011. If you live in the mid Atlantic you know what I mean. Heat indicies reached 123 degrees today.  I am melting just trying to keep the flowers alive! Since it is so hot outside I have been inside working with my embroidery machine and have created some new embroideries you can take a look at and download for free.

The first embroidery I created uses auto punch and and lettering. I created a pillow top to annouce a new born baby. If you want to download this design for the Singer XL400 Futura,I have a multihoop design in FHE. You can use the editing feature of your software to change the name and date. If you want to create your own lettering, I have also saved the teddy bear design in XXX, PES and JEF. When you download the designs save as design.format.

I purchased a CD of over 300,000 images and clipart to use with my autopunch designing.  The monograms you can create in autopunch are fantastic. Here are a few examples. I have placed several at my free design gallery. The format for my monogram is in FHE Futura format. You can use the Compucon auto punch software to create almost any design. I have also designed the "days of the week" to embroider. Make a tea towel for each day of the week if you dry dishes like me.

The Space manned flights have been a part of life for me since I was in the 4th grade. I remember our class gathering in school around an elevated TV to see Allen Shepard blast off. I look forward to the next space chapter but have to pay homage to the last 40 years. I have made this autopunch embroidery for you to download for free. I have also included an extra large version for the Singer Futura XL400. Try the embroidery as a sample before you place it on something good. The space shuttle design can be embroideried as a patch.
