I have found some great ideas this week for you to try.
Create a book that will last a lifetime with the In-the-Hoop Counting Critters collection. These embroidery designs are easy to assemble into an interactive book for toddlers. Each page features adorable animals that children will recognize. Plus, kids will enjoy touching the variety of fabrics in the book while learning to count! Here is an additional picture.
This coming week I will be having a free demo on Saturday morning at Hancock. Demonstration starts at 10-12:00. Saturday afternoon is our next machine embroidery class. If you have an embroidery machine you need to learn, class starts at 1:30. Make sure you enroll by Thursday so I know you are coming. On Sunday April 15th I have my next tutor class. Again you need to enroll by Friday to attend. To see more on our sewing class schedule at Hancock click here. I will not be available to answer the phone for the next 2 days. My uncle died and we will be out of town to attend his services. See you on Wednesday. Happy holidays. Jenny |

I hope my newsletter finds everyone enjoying the Holidays. Spring is busting out all over here and we are all sneezing and eyes are itching. Every morning I have to wash the cars off. I love the pretty flowers but hate the side effects. That means I stay inside and sew and embroider till the pollen is gone.
For all the embroidery novices out there I was looking for additional lessons on how to use stabilizers and position designs in the hoop. I saw a great project done by Nancy's Notions. Print your design templates to edit and design a layout in the hoop. You can watch the video to see more on
Sue Cahill is our March drawing winner of a $25.00 gift certificate.
Singer has a great sewing machine for you to consider if you are entering the world of sewing and want a big bang for your buck.
