I have been experimenting with multi-hooping ideas and thought you might enjoy a holiday treat! "Make a Night Before "wall hanging in multi-hooping. Left is a multihoop design requiring 4 hoop sets.

I have designed 3 multi-hoop designs with 4 hoopings per set. Using the trace feature explained in my earlier article, you can combine your multihooping sets to create a multi-multi-hoop design. Mark the center for your first design so you are starting straight on your fabric. Make sure you mark the trace corner stitch points.

When you go to the second hoop set which is either hortizontal or vertical, make sure you move your needle so the trace points line up to the first design trace point. The designs are in our gallery. I have not tested the design at this point but you are welcome to use it. The lettering is from the built in font program.  I did not complete the poem since the story would make a huge design. The designs in this poem are digitized in the Futura Quartet auto punch software. This excercise is to show you the possibilites of the program. You might want to make your own multihoop design and share it for free. If you do, send me the design in FHE so I can open it and load the designs for download.
