SINGER® Quantum XL6000 Stitch link demonstration

The Stitch Link is a wireless receiver of embroidery design data for your SINGER XL6000 or XL5000 embroidery machine.  Plug the Stitch Link to your SINGER XL6000. Set the SINGER XL6000 baud rate to 38400. Next install the Stitch Link on your computer. Call the toll free number if you have trouble setting up the link. The Stitch Link tech used a virtual link and set my computer up the way it needed to be set, right on-line and even tried the sewing software to make sure the link worked. I said wow! What service!!!

Now I can use my SINGER XL6000 or XL5000 to receive designs from a remote computer through the SINGER PSW 2.0 or the conversion tool.  It has never been so easy! We have 7 computers in the store and I can virtually set them all up to work the Stitch Link transfer through our wireless network. Now in class we can send designs to an XL6000 by just plugging in the wireless link to each machine and virtually sending the design. It also helps students understand design transfer and machine settings better.  I think this is the best thing since sliced bread. Now I do not have to worry about cards. If you would like a demo come in and see it works. Below is an on-line demonstration.

The Stitch Link plugs right into the serial port on your SINGER XL6000

To set up your machine touch the book with ? mark.

Next touch the little man with ? mark.

Touch the box on the right with the finger pointing.

Page to the left once.

Touch the baud rate of 38400 and then OK.

To receive a design, your machine should be placed in this screen. You will touch the computer button after you send the design from your computer. Let's look at the computer set up.

Once the Stitch Link is installed you need to go to Start, program files and find Stitch Link. Click on it and you will see the port emulator. You will need to open this every time you use the Stitch Link.

Minimize this window to keep the port open. The port will show up as com 2 on our computer.

Open the SINGER PSW2.0  or the SINGER Conversion Tool and choose a design. Here we will pick a PES format.

Send the design using the Stitch Link Com Port

Go to you machine and receive it by hitting the computer button.

You can also see it working from the computer monitor.

If you would like to use the Stitch Link, here is the link to purchase. We are now stocking them.
